The topics I’ve blogged about over the years have really attracted quite a diverse readership. My two biggest focuses though have been dating advice/personal transformation, and proper exercise/nutrition. I think many people stay tuned with this blog (and the convention site) for both, but I think it’s safe to say that many readers are only here for one or the other.
The annual convention I host also reflects this diversity in interests, however the tickets available do (did?) not. So, due to recent “popular demand” (man that sounds pretty cool), I now offer an “exercise and nutrition only” ticket for the 2009 convention.
This is for those of you who are interested in seeing Drew and I speak about those topics, and don’t feel like dropping an extra $200 dollars for other speakers and unrelated topics.
Drew and I will be speaking mid afternoon (specifics released closer to the event to attendees only) on Saturday July 26th in the Crowne Plaza of Downtown Orlando. There should be well over 3 hours of stage time, and we will both take Q and A. The ticket is a fair $40 and can be found here on the ticket page.

Hey Dream,
I’m really interested in attending the 2009 convention. However, my friends who were going with me can’t afford the time off work so I’m stuck going by myself…
Out of curiosity, how open and friendly are people generally during this? I’m hoping to arrive and be able to get a good connection with people, and not feel so out of place. You could classify me as a small town guy (I grew up on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, very small town) so the city is a little intimidating.
Keep the good work up, hope to see you all 2009,
~Luce
Hey Luce
Hmm, this makes me wonder how many other guys are on the edge of attending but are unsure about coming alone.
Fact is, this event is very open and friendly. I make sure of it. We actually do organized “approach a thons” for newbies at night. People head out in giant packs for lunch/dinner, etc…
Nothing to worry about man, hope to see you this summer. Be sure to introduce yourself as soon as I dont look ridiculously busy!
thanks
