The Dream Way Lives Once Again
Posted on 21. Jun, 2009 by Dream in Lifestyle Design

Not everyone knows this, but I spent the first few years of my college life approaching women at bars and clubs. And by spent, I mean a minimum of 4-5 nights a week- at one point in time I went out every single night for months on end. I did this without a drop of alcohol, and often times “flyin solo”- interestingly enough this is where most of my success has come from, even to this day.
I set out to do this primarily because I had not enjoyed success with women growing up. In fact, before finding the “pickup community”- as popularized by best selling books like The Game and Vh1’s hit show The Pickup Artist- which motivated me to take these steps in college, I had kissed a total of 3 women.
My relationship experience consisted of 2 girls. One I dated for a grand total of 3 days in the 8th grade. Then, she dumped me.
The second girl was a bit longer (10th grade), a total of about 5 days. Then, she dumped me.
Surprisingly (not?) I now host the world’s largest convention centered around dating and relationship advice- a convention that is filmed and released free to the world post event- 3 years running.
Alongside this convention and improving my social skills through “cold approaching”, I aspired to teach others how achieve consistent success with women. Although perhaps *improving my social skills* is a mild, politically correct way to put it.
A close friend had the following to say not long ago while referring to his own journey with women (and how it was similar to my own)
“But for some guys, learning to get the girl is a grueling, soul purging experience. Changing who you are on a fundamental level is by no means a small task, and it tends to evoke side effect.”
Anyway, I taught others through 2 avenues.
The first being one on one weekend workshops. I would spend an entire weekend with someone, and take them out at night. I would demonstrate what I believed would benefit them, and helped them correct course after I observed them meeting women. It’s incredible to see how people behave when meeting someone new in a crowded and rowdy social setting. People do all sorts of interesting things.
This cost anywhere from $500-$750 per weekend. I stopped running these workshops in the fall of 2008 when I decided to focus almost exclusively on The 21 Convention. I get a few e-mails monthly inquiring about the coaching, but I continue to refer people to other coaches I trust- meaning people that aren’t scammers and have a legitimate drive to help people in this field- that still offer these types of programs.
The second way I taught others was through a book I wrote and released in the summer of 2008 titled The Dream Way. It was the accumulation of my then current understanding of women, and the experiences that lead me to those conclusions. Experiences ranging from traveling the country to “meet the best”, all sorts of crazy random adventures, and approaching nearly 4,000 groups of women at nutty college bars.
For most people this cost $47. That was the longest running and best selling price of the book. The book also came with a few bonuses, including 1 full journal from the fall of 2007-when I went out every night for about 3 and a half months and started having consistent success with women I found attractive- and an almost equally lengthy post compilation (similar in content but preceded the journal).
While I have no intention of teaching workshops again- at least as far as I can see into my own immediate future- I do feel that The Dream Way should be available at least in some form.
But why did it disappear in the first place?
My views and opinions regarding the content of the book have changed dramatically since it’s completion. From my understanding, this is quite common among authors after finishing a book.
I took the book down with the intention of re-writing it someday (after Dream Vitality), or IOW, I no longer felt comfortable directly promoting it.
And that still stands. I wouldn’t feel right hosting it up again and directing traffic to it at the previous price tag. However, even if the newer version is entirely different from the old, why not allow people to view the old book and it’s bonuses for free or nearly free?
To the furthest extent of my knowledge there was never a bad review of the book. Everyone who bought the book (which had a 90 day 110% money back guarantee), enjoyed it. And since there were never any returns, I assume everyone felt it was worth the price charged. I may have been a bit cocky with the 110% return policy, but it was confidence that paid off.
For those interested in reading a few reviews, here are a few I found on the Venusian Arts forum.
Back on point, I recently considered just hosting the book up for free somewhere and not worrying about it until I re-wrote it years from now. A close friend advised against it though. I guess a big “sticking point” that I haven’t thought about in a long while is that of not valuing my self and what I have to offer- a “sticking point” that probably played a large role in my lack of success with women growing up.
Or maybe I’m just to eager to give stuff away and over thinking this, who knows…=)
I also considered the notion that people who constantly look for “free stuff”, are precisely the same people who won’t apply what they read.
BradP (a dating guru, not Brad Pitt) who I’m actually not too friendly with, once said that the guys with the least success are actually the guys who have read and absorbed the most “content”- content being videos/cds/books/seminars etc. As much as I want nothing to do with the guy, it’s difficult to disagree.
He actually cited that the people who download product after product on dating advice torrent sites are the worst of all… Caught up in a never ending stream of INPUT, and never taking the time to go out and apply what they read or heard.
This is not something I want to feed into.
In light of this, I decided to re-release the book at a minimal cost and through a more reliable (and accessible) avenue, Scribd.
Scribd is a web site that offers a cool preview of each PDF file, the ability to log in and view them anywhere in the world, and the ability to download each file (and print them at home or in the office).
Minimal being $5 dollars for the main book, and $2 for each individual journal. My thinking is this will weed out the people who wouldn’t be helped by my book- currently agree with it or not- and will help pay for the expenses of running this site, the convention footage, and the convention itself.
While obviously this won’t amount to a mountain of cash, every bit helps and is appreciated.
I guess in another spotlight these documents are now free but require a “mandatory donation” (wondering if that’s an oxymoron right about now).
The minor cost, IMO, also makes it fair to those who purchased the book at full price long ago- which speaking of, if you did I still have the records from those sales, and if you would like the book re-sent to you I am still able to do that at no cost.
You can purchase the book and the accompanying journals below
(main book)
(newer journal of the 2, also includes a few surprises at the end)
(oldest journal)
Hope everyone had a good weekend, and please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions on the subject.

Awesome man
Will take a look at it.
Peace,

Hey Jonas
I got your email but when I responded it gave me a failure notice. Have any other emails that work?

I should quad-triple my prices.
Try this one.
I actually think I sent you a mail a while back from that address regarding your book.
I will be getting a new mail soon, so stay tuned.
PS. Fix that damn white/black thing up there, it’s getting annoying ; )
Yeah I know, I’ve been lazy with it haha. Will try to get to it after tomorrows post (although I think I had trouble the last time I tried to remove it).
Let me know how to e-mail you…
