I’m sure many of you know- but some of you may not- that I run the world’s largest event for dating and lifestyle advice.
It’s an event I started organizing at 17, and hosted for the first time at 18 in 2007. I gather the world’s top dating instructors/coaches (and others with awesome content to share unrelated to success with women), and have them speak for a few days.
Sounds simple, because it is =).
What makes this event cool?
Well, for one we film it (this third year in HD), and release it absolutely free on the main site, www.The21Convention.com. No fees of any kind (not even email collection), nothin- there isn’t even any advertising.
It’s a pretty radical way to “give back”, but I don’t mind at all- regardless of who it rubs the wrong way.
People enjoy, appreciate, and share the footage, and that’s all I ask.
The event is also 4 days long this year, from 10:00 am to 8pm daily. Massive in size, minature in cost.
Other “similar” events cost in the thousands of dollars. In fact one level of the upcoming Love Systems super conference is nearly $4000 dollars.
Now, these events are not one in the same, not by any means (and that memership includes personal coaching “in field”), but never the less The 21 Convention is only $259.95. And it’s actually been as low as $150, if you bought long in advance.
It’s been called “the best value in the pickup community”, and not to toot my own horn, but righly so IMO.
…
Anyway, this post isn’t meant to serve as an informerical. Let’s get to the good stuff!
Well first off, for blog readers, I need to mention that posting frequency may be dropping off as the convention draws near, as I finalize my own speeches (of which, feel free to suggest topics right here on the blog!), finish up logistical details, and deal with many, many other demands of the convention and all 100+ people attending.
But, I’ll do what I can to update the blog. I love writing, and there’s always something on my mind…
I’ll also be moving in with Tim @ MoxieLifestyle.net directly after the convention, as well as training a few friends while they are in from out of town for the convention. So, I’ll be busy for days after the convention. But, be sure to check in when I release exclusive pictures from the convention right here on the blog- which, for those of you who weren’t aware, also serves as the official convention blog.
Ok so how about some goodies…the low down. Here is the expected schedule for The 21 Convention (2009).

Please arrive EARLY each day. Speeches will begin PROMPTLY, do NOT be late.
There will also be a few surprises. I can only reveal so many, but for now I can tell you that there should be multiple contestants of Vh1′s The Pickup Artist in attendance at the convention.
There will also be a free “approach a thon” on the first night. We’ll discuss it further at the event, but in short, if you’re new to approaching women, this is an excellent way to learn the basics (and it includes live “in field” work!).
Other than that, what else is there to say? This is the event of a lifetime (err, it’s in its third year but I think you get the point =D), and you can NOT afford to miss it.
There are still a handful of regular tickets left, as well as a handful of “exercise and nutrition” only tickets. These tickets (at a dramatically reduced price) allow you access to my health speech on Saturday as well as Drew Baye’s speech on training.

ps
For those wondering, I use to lack basic social skills, and as a result my “love life”-or social life for that matter- was very unsuccessful. This drove me to eventually find the “pickup community“. Not long after that- impatient as I am- I wanted to meet these dating “coaches”, as well as others my age with better success. In the long run this convention turned out to be a whole lot more than just that, but that’s how it began. At this point I continue it for a number of reasons- for one, I’m just downright passionate about it- but also because it serves the purpose as a sort of “hub” for this community. This role has never been fully filled, and I intend to fill that gap as a sort of responsibility that fell into my lap at a young age.

I’m so envious at the people that will be attending. GODDAMMIT!
But finding cheap tickets from North of Sweden to Orlando is tricky so it’s out of the question for this year.
I will try to make it next year instead, and I sure hope you can get r. Ferriss to join in then
Best of luck –
Jonas
Any idea if Zebra will be attending? (obviously not as a speaker)
thanks Jonas, hope to see you in 2010!
Man I wish Zebra was heading out this year but he’s unable to attend =(. He said he’ll be cheering from the sidelines though, and I imagine hell be back next year.

Looking forward to it. See you guys on Thurs!
