So this is what I’ve been working on for the past few months, and especially the final sprint over the past few weeks. The finished product is above and beyond what I had hoped for. Everything is of stunning quality. From the speeches themselves, to the technical aspects of the audio, video, and power point slides … it’s all there, all ideal. I’m really, really happy with how it has come out, and am excited to see how Vimeo’s OnDemand service works out on a big scale like this. You guys have probably noticed me tinkering with smaller video collections … well, all were practice for this =). Read the announcement newsletter below.
Oh, and the surprise for the first 48-hour window buyers is : you get the MP3 pack for this event for free. Each MP3 bought on its own would total $51, so, pretty cool reward for the early adopters. (The entire video anthology isn’t much more than this).
Anthony Dream Johnson here today, founder and architect of The 21 Convention, coming at you direct with a major announcement to make.
No, no details yet on future events; you’re going to have to wait a bit longer for those goodies ;). What I do have to announce is the completion and launch date of all videos from The 21 Convention 2012 of Melbourne Australia.
Thus far all of the full length, new videos you have seen release through this newsletter and around the web are strictly from the London England and Austin Texas events. And from what you guys have told me, you think they are pretty epic. I happen to agree =).
But, what I’ve kept under wraps all this time, were the work in progress videos from the Australia convention — the most remote, “greenest”, and yet, final event of the triple 2012 conferences.
The event that was very personal to me because of the challenges it presented, and the benchmark it represented in the history of this organization, as well as in my own life.
You see, once this convention started, and as it grew, ideas and advice were constantly sent my way. And one piece I remember quite vividly was the idea of multiplying the event in and around the United States.
Fantastic as that idea may sound at face value, it sounded almost pointless to me when I first heard it. And as the years have gone by, I’ve come to understand my initial response to that suggestion.
My interest has never been, with The 21 Convention or otherwise, to do ‘great’ things. My goal is always set to the max — to the best and highest possible of me, and of anything I create.
With The 21 Convention that to me meant no less than bringing this conference to a truly international, multi-continent stage. Nothing else would satisfy me, and I felt, nothing else would allow this organization to actualize its potential.
The 21 Convention of Melbourne Australia is the pinnacle event in the history of The 21 Convention. It is the tenth, and the best event of its kind to ever take place. It’s something I am very proud of … to have dreamed, to have built, and to present to you on June 27th.
The event in its entirety was astonishing — the home run hit so high, it’s still falling.
And it lands on June 27th.
What Can You Expect?
Rather than waiting for the videos to release on the web, streaming, with advertisements, the entire event will be available on day one as a digital download. Every minute, every idea, every question, every slide (perfectly in-video), from every speech and speaker.
No waiting, no guessing what’s next, no ads (ever), nothing but pure content. And for the first time ever, all presentations are being delivered in stunning Blu-ray quality 1080p/10,000+kbps complete with 320 kbps HD audio.
That means they look and sound bad ass.
To put this in perspective, 2009 videos were delivered in 720p/2,000kbps video. So the Australia videos are literally, exponentially higher quality than speeches from previous years. Even on a huge TV, they look jaw-dropping flawless.
Don’t want to download the entire Blu-ray quality 1080p video file? No problem. You can also download or stream (ad-free) every speech in a smaller HD file, a standard definition file, as well as in an easy to use mobile format.
17 full length presentations, including three special keynote presentations from keynote speaker James Marshall of The Natural Lifestyles. That includes an opening, closing, and extended main presentation with additional time.
Also included for free are 15 behind the scenes HD interviews. (These are open to the public and do not require purchase).
The entire event can be purchased in one simple buy, or each presentation can be purchased individually. If you buy everything all at once you save a clean $15 USD.
48 Hour Bonus!
Pretty simple, pretty sweet. Everyone who buys the full event video set within the first 48 hours will be automatically eligible to get a free gift worth over $50. All you have to do is forward your receipt to us and boom, check your inbox.
No, not telling what it is, but, it’s something you’ll want, and you’ll be damn happy to get it, promise =).
Where can I watch these videos?
This is the best part … all of the videos from T21C Australia can be watched on the following devices at no extra charge (just download the free Vimeo App in most cases):
- Xbox 360
- Windows Phone
- Samsung TV
- Samsung Blu-ray
- Google TV
- Panasonic TV
- Philips TV
- LG TV
And that’s just streaming.
Technically, since you can download and keep any video you purchase from the event forever (a single one, or all of them), you can watch the videos offline on almost any portable device imaginable.
Basically, anything that plays video. No strings attached, no time limits, no region-locks, no restrictions at all.
You buy the video, it’s yours to watch, period.
June 27th is going to be an awesome day, and you should definitely get ready to view a collection of incredible videos, available for the first time ever, presented in stunning 1080p full HD video and audio.
These videos are really that amazing, in technical quality, and in content quality.
Above and beyond anything ever filmed at a T21C conference before, they are the best of their kind, and surpass every bench mark set before them in this history of The 21 Convention.
I hope you’re excited. Take care and talk soon.
