Flip the Script, Stay Healthy- Seriously

Flip the Script, Stay Healthy- Seriously

There are two ideas that have been eating away at my brain lately (not literally).

One is an underlying theme seen in the society I have grown up in- that is, the south eastern United States. It’s probably prevalent in most (if not all) parts of the world, but I won’t speak outside of my experience in this situation. If it applies to where you live, you’ll know- without question.

The other is a bit more specific to nutrition and health, and branches off the first topic. Be forewarned though, both of these are likely to stir emotions, and…

New Site + My Book is Now Free

Working on a new post now. In the mean time I wanted to make sure everyone saw my new site, BeachMuscles.org.

I modeled it after TimFerriss.com.

It’s nothing super fancy, but I do like the simplicity of it.

Essentially it’s a portal site for everything “dreamy”. It has all the goodies for this blog, The 21 Convention, a short bio, and ways to connect with me. Really useful to stick in my twitter and facebook accounts as well, rather than one or the other (TDL or T21C).

There is also an announcement about a big project I’m working on this month for The 21 Convention. By far the biggest project I have yet to take on, aside from the live event itself. Will talk more about it here soon.

Also, be sure to check out my book, The Dream Way. I put it out free like convention footage, right on the main site. All documents are loaded up on Scribd.com, free to view, download, and print. No compromises, just free,…

Why it’s Important Tucker Max’s Movie Succeeds

I went to Gainsville and met Tucker for his movie premiere not long ago. I’ve linked it enough so if you haven’t read it yet, I suggest you find the post.

The movie was great, and from what little I saw of Tucker, he’s a good dude. The theater wasn’t the best though, so a bunch of friends and I opted to go see it on release night here in Orlando (one of the initial 85 release cities in the US).

Every laugh made it worth the ticket price, it’s a riot.

Bla

Bla

Bla

I’m done raving about the movie. I’ve done it enough, and that’s not what this post is about.

This post is more about change, in everything.

“I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell” Pint Glasses- Good for More Than Just Beer

“I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell” Pint Glasses- Good for More Than Just Beer

Not long ago I met up with Tucker Max in Gainsville for the pre-screening of his new full feature film, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. Some of the best $10 I have ever spent.

Not only did I get to see the movie, but I got a bundle of stuff that was actually useful. As seen in the…

Thoughts on The 6 Week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle

Thoughts on The 6 Week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle

Tim Ferriss recently released a controversial blog post about saturated fat- an excerpt from The 6 Week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle, actually.

I had heard about the book previously through a Yahoo group I subscribe to, but hadn’t taken the time to read any previews until Tim’s post.

After reading the blog, I considered buying the book- seemed worth checking out at least.

Then one of the authors (Michael Eades) jumped in on the 400+ comments on Tim’s blog- and things got really interesting. He added a ton of value and content to the discussion.

That added to my excitement- and combined with Drew Baye’s recommendation to pick it up, I just said the hell with it and ordered it off Amazon.

Of course, being curious as I am, I checked out his blog…

Important Announcement- A New Blog?

Important Announcement- A New Blog?

So what’s this big announcement I’ve been talking about? Considering all of the whacky stuff I do… no tellin right?

Well for one, it’s not too whacky. In fact this is probably one of the more intelligent moves I’ve made over the past few months, for sure.

And for anyone expecting some uber long post, sorry, this doesn’t call for such a thing.

Basically this post is an update in regards to the content that I will be blogging about here on TDL.

What I’ve realized since bringing this blog over to a self hosted wordpress site is this- I attract two different groups of people with my writings and work.

More Thoughts on “Free”

Hey guys, working on an important post for tomorrow (later today at this point though).

But before then, wanted to share a Wired article I found titled

Free! Why $0.00 Is the Future of Business

(the video is actually really cool too, despite having a cheesy thumbnail).

Reminds me a lot of a post I wrote not long ago, The Price of Free.

Anyway, important updates to come. And later this week, another “ultimate” style post on proper mouth/dental care. Gonna rock your world ;)

The Official List of Upcoming Conferences From the GDI

The Official List of Upcoming Conferences From the GDI

GDI- according to Urban dictionary (highly trusted source of information), GDI stands for god damn independent.

While this may sound a bit extreme, I believe this accurately describes my- and The 21 Convention’s- role in the world of dating and relationship advice.

Thus far, I have been able to host the event 3 consecutive years- without getting tangled up in (too much) drama and politics- of which, there is a shit ton floating around.

I’m not sure exactly how I managed to pull this off- although I could speculate- but never the less that’s the current state of affairs.

So, kudos…

Proper Exercise and Nutrition

Proper Exercise and Nutrition

The above presentation was the second of 2 speeches I gave at The 21 Convention 2009: The World’s Leading Men’s Success Convention. Throughout the 4 days of the event, there were over 100 people in attendance (which made for a pretty wild time in downtown Orlando).

The majority of the topics were focused on dating and relationship success, however Drew Baye and I spoke about exercise, nutrition, body building, and more.

You can find Drew’s speech- along with the rest of the 25+ hours of free footage- at www.The21Convention.com.

All 2009 clips stream in 720p high definition. Most speeches range from about 1-2 hours in length.

There are no annoying banner ads, e-mail collection (mandatory or optional), and there is absolutely no cost- it’s just free to the world.

In the above speech I cover…

  • Why this area of your life is vitally important to understand and…
