Bill DeSimone’s Congruent Exercise [Full Video]

A pleasant change of topics on TDL — back to exercise we go. This time around we have Bill DeSimone, the champion of bio-mechanics as it applies to exercise (although the official disclaimer is that Bill is not formally educated on the subject).

Of course, I am not formally educated on event planning and hosting, and I seem to do OK at it. Similarly, I think Doug McGuff would be the first to say that 95% of the things he learned in medical school relating to nutrition are not only false, but the complete and total opposite of reality.

The list goes on and on. What else is new? The mainstream, conventional wisdom status-quo sucks — and Bill does a fantastic job of tackling it, and laying the foundation for a more effective (and infinitely safer) way to exercise in this presentation.

Watch Congruent Exercise now.

    This speech kicks serious ass.

Why would doctors, the FDA, the government, the American Medical Association and everyone push the concept that eating a high carb diet is good for us, if it wasn’t? Do you really think its a conspiracy to make Americans sick and dependent on drugs and medical care their entire lives OR do you think they really believe it and are pushing it because they think its in the best interest of humanity and they genuinely want to help us?

With the exception proving the rule, the second. The problem is, the result is the same as if it were the first 99% of the time.

Well, sort of. Depends on how you define “the best interest of humanity”, which sounds like code for collectivism.

Far as I am concerned, it’s illegal for government to stick a gun in your face in this country if you haven’t hurt or defrauded anyone else first. Waiving it in your face to regulate a product you have produced is just insane.

The best interest of humanity in this context means that advice which would result in the optimal physical health and longevity of human beings. No code. Just good ol fashioned good intentions.

How is government waving a gun in peoples faces?

In what way does government not? Government is a monopoly on force. Every rule, law, and regulation on the books in this country is ultimately backed by the force of a gun handled by a law enforcement officer — whether the law is legal and valid, or illegal and a contradiction.

Staying on the topic of health, the government does not force us to eat or not eat something. The food pyramid, which has been revised, is merely a suggestion. That being said, I do think they are purposely misleading the populace with their suggestion of a high carb diet to benefit the profits of Big Agro and Big Pharma. It cannot be otherwise. The AMA and FDA are comprised of intelligent scientists and doctors who have all the latest state of the art technology at their disposal for research purposes.

They know what’s healthy and what isn’t, and yet they continue to promote an unhealthy food plan.

The bottomline is profits and that’s it.

    • Anthony Dream Johnson June 26, 2011 at 9:57 pm #

Oh, and who pays for the food pyramid to be revised? Who pays for their educational programs nationwide? Who pays the employees to run the website? Who pays the hosting fees?

You think anyone is donating money to the FDA? Shit is funded by force and force alone. You’re failing to see how this is merely a sophisticated derivative of force.

As for profit, it’s only a problem when they use the force of government to “produce” profit — which is not producing, but stealing.

Money is the root of all good today. It allows men to deal with each other as traders, not slaves and masters. Fiat currency is hardly money though. Gold, silver, and shares in companies worth a damn — now that’s something with actual value.

    Not me!

I work off the books and rarely buy anything.
