In case you haven’t noticed, The 21 Convention isn’t focused on any one specific topic, but it is focused.

It is focused on everything right in the world, because it is the highest expression of my personal battle, for everything right in the world.

This is the reason why the convention has expanded so rapidly in the scope of subjects involved.

This is the reason why I took my battle across the world to Europe, instead of somewhere else in the American States.

Because my vision for it is much, much bigger than what one country – or even one continent — can encompass.

School vs. The 21 Convention

Want to Define a Man?

“Want to know what defines a man? Look no further than what gets him out of bed every single morning.”

 

Since July 2006, what’s gotten me out of bed every single morning, first and foremost, is The 21 Convention – my greatest achievement, and physical expression of my deepest vision of what is right in the world.

 

While other things have, at times, contributed to this act – The Dream Lounge especially — nothing has taken importance over The 21 Convention. Not even close.

 

By my judgment, this is also it’s greatest appeal.

 

Greatest appeal because a man and his focus – his purpose — succeeding in the world today is becoming rarer by the day.

 

And this is something we value to the highest of degrees.

 

An outlet to admire that which is deserving of admiration.

 

This is the value people attribute to The 21 Convention when they view it as “the grass roots”, “hope for the future”,…

The Doctor Is In

For those of you who have followed this blog long, or closely enough, you know all to well that I am a massive supporter of Doug and Body by Science — the #1 best seller of all time at The Dream Lounge global headquarters.

With that said, there are three points I want to make in regards to this speech.

1. This was one of, if not the proudest moment of my life.

While I did not think of it in these terms at the time, this was the emotion I was experiencing when Doug took the stage at The 21 Convention.

Pride, to the furthest extent possible — to the full degree.

Why is this?

Because I correctly recognized the “weight” Doug brought to my greatest achievement — the stage of The 21 Convention. In recognizing that tremendous weight — and for the first time in my life — I properly valued the strength of my achievement.

Two Roads to Choose

This is a slide from the legendary speech given by Dj Fuji at T21C 2009. It’s an extremely popular speech that most of you have probably seen once, twice, or even three times over. I don’t think the speech itself has ever received criticism, other than idiotic mowhawk comments.

While I will not “criticize” the speech today (and have no desire to), I will provide a brief critical analysis of this specific slide — at face value, independent of Dj Fuji’s discussion of it in the speech — which I think, is open to two roads of interpretation.

How Does The 21 Convention Benefit You?

As a direct result of building The 21 Convention, there are a number of people in my life I consider close friends, yet have only met a handful of times my entire life.

 

I spoke with one of those friends last night, and he mentioned something that has not crossed my mind in some time – how do attendees benefit from The 21 Convention?

 

I am so focused on designing and building events that I have never given the question serious thought.

 

I slept on the question last night. I thought, and I formed an answer. It is written below.

I found the PUA Community just after my 17th birthday. Not long after I found it – perhaps days – I experienced the most profound thought and emotion of my life.

“It’s Not Popular in Our Culture to be the Leader”

The context Tim is speaking of in this quote is of a true leader — of a man who leads men of independent thought, by voluntary choice, for his own reasons, and for his own sake.

Of a man who refuses to serve or to rule.

This is diametrically opposed to the conventional leaders of today though (who are indeed “popular”) — false leaders who proclaim that they “are their brother’s keepers“.

Men who seek not to conquer nature, but man — every man — by trampling on his personal rights, through the iniation of force, and derivatives there of.
