Contrarian Interpersonal Relationships (preview)

Contrarian Interpersonal Relationships (preview)

Aside from my opening speech, this was the first speech given at The 21 Convention 2011 of Orlando Florida (click the screenshot to view a preview). It was my personal favorite of the entire conference, because I found so much value in it relevant to where I am at in my personal development as of right now, it was hard to even fully digest at the time. In fact I watched it 7 times over in the course of a week once I got a hold of the full version. It was that amazing.

Consequently, and thanks to further discussions with Socrates via phone, his ideas (if not the sum of his entire mindset on male/female relationships)  in very large part produced the result of me starting my first relationship with a woman who is absolutely incredible, less than a month after the speech was physically given and filmed at the event.

In light of this, the introduction I give Sock is almost eerie in this…

I received the following comment the other day (link).

Anthony I usually do not comment, as well, I am on my iPhone. But this struck such a chord with me that I had to express my appreciation.

I often think that I will not be able to fully appreciate my father until he dies because I am so stuck in my ways, and he in his, that to expect that our relationship could evolve is too hopeful and will simply leave me more heartbroken once he passes.

Watching you on video I can tell we are both introverted individuals and if you’re like me I’m guessing you haven’t always found it easy to express deep feelings (I am terrible at this but I need to get better ASAP). So I ask you as someone who I relate to: if you knew what you knew today, how would your relationship with curtis look different were you to have the opportunity to talk to him now?

Were there things you never said to…

Dating — No Contradictions Possible

Dating — No Contradictions Possible

This is in a way a follow up to Love – No Contradictions Possible. In fact I may just make a series out of this and shred contradictions to pieces in a variety of fields.

The premise we are told to accept in dating is this: the women you admire cannot be the women you desire. In application, this means any woman who would sleep with you right off the bat is not a woman worthy of a relationship of any real significance – her actions and choices remove her from such possibility.

Even if you would not have had your initial interaction with her go any other way – which reveals the contradiction. You got what you (both) wanted, and because you succeeded in your efforts, future success is no longer possible.

Or, in another sense: because you BOTH won, now, you both lose.

WTF?

Guys who proclaim this shit (not knowing the real meaning of their proclamations) are the same guys getting frustrated with “LMR”, or girls suddenly…

It’s Not About the Girl … It’s About YOU

It’s Not About the Girl … It’s About YOU

I got a question via Facebook yesterday. The question format isn’t uncommon – essentially asking about how to get this “one” girl, what to do, how to talk to her, how to behave, etc, etc.

Dating coaches get this kind of stuff all of the time.

And while I am not a dating coach of any kind or sort, I’ll go right ahead and say that one of the most important ideas I have ever come across in my understanding of male/female relationships, is that it’s not about her, it’s about you.

So much so that it would be and is accurate to say — IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HER, and everything to do with you.

That’s right. It’s about what YOU think, what you feel, what you want, what you admire, what you value, what you JUDGE — in every regard imaginable.

And what I mean by “it” is your own happiness, and your own actualized success in the intimate/romantic arena of your life. The girl…

Vitamin D and Skewed Statistics

Dr. John Cannell makes an excellent point that I have thought a lot about as of late — that 99.9999% of statistics are based on populations fucked 10 ways to sunday.

He makes the point of Vitamin D deficiency, but of course, it goes way beyond that. The general population is not just severely deficient in Vitamin D, but deficient in … probably more vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients than any of us care to count.

Not only that, but they are busy actively avoiding foods that have the nutrients they are deficient in, AND, adding insult to injury, they are scarfing down substances that can hardly be called food, that are in turn, only further destroying their health.

People run for the hills from egg yolks, butter, and red meat — and hold on to bread, sugar, soy, and RAPESEED (canola) oil like its their last supper.

This is of course, ridiculous, if not insane, and is 100% downright harmful.

But, point being, like John makes, this is skewing statistics out the wazoo on every disease…

DayGame Blueprint LIVE

DayGame Blueprint LIVE

The DayGame Blueprint live event is going on all this weekend in Central London (Saturday-Monday). It’s being held by DayGame LTD, headed by Andy Yosha, who Drew Baye and I did a podcast with a while back on proper exercise & nutrition.

The event is first class, and if you are in the area, and not here, you are missing out big time. Really, this is one of the most professional events I have ever been to, including my own, and I highly recommend coming out and checking out the event before it closes shop Monday.

The central theme?

You guessed it: this is the definitive event for meeting and dating women during the day. You’d think it would be a really small niche of people interested in such a thing, but not so. These guys have put more thought into the concept than anyone else in the world as far a I am aware, and are now condensing the best of their content down into a three…

A False Dichotomy

“A men’s conference would focus much less on women and much more on how to be a man.”

I’ve already discussed this quote here, which came from The Spearhead, but would like to briefly expand on it thanks to Rob Judge. Rob says,

Genuinely loving women isn’t something you “do;” it’s something you ARE

In regards to quote number one, Rob hits the nail on the head, so hard, that he reveals the false choice presented in the original quote — that focusing on women is somehow opposed to or exclusive of “how to be a man” — a completely undefined phrase 99.999999% of the time that is just “supposed to” have some sort of meaning without any effort or thought given to the matter.

Like the word “good”. What is “good”? Ever thought about that? What about “evil”?

Anyway, in the (paraphrased) words of Nathaniel Branden, viewing women as the greatest of nature’s creations is central to life on earth as a man. It is central to being male.

The same is true in reverse: viewing…
