The 21 Convention Is A Fraud And A Scam!

Omega Man has blogged again about The 21 Convention. This time, he…

1. Figures out my real name is not Anthony Dream Johnson, but Anthony Paul Johnson. The investigative skill and effort this took leaves me flabbergasted.

2. Calls me a “certified mangina”. (I’m still waiting for my certification in the mail).

3. Compares me to real estate hucksters from 5-7 years back who tried (and succeeded) in sucking people into the real estate bubble fueled by government fiat, meddling, regulation, and so on. I find this especially amusing because my family just lost their dream home that they once owned free and clear as a direct result of federal government do-gooders. Not to mention, my dad built much of the house with his bare hands, and contracted out the rest of the work himself.

My father realized how hard he got fucked by government, and proceeded to destroy the home with his bare hands before my very eyes at the end, bulldozer style.

This was a sight I will never forget — and I think,…

What It’s Like Having Your House Robbed

My father was a contractor/home builder in South West Florida for over 25 years. He made it big, and then more or less got sucked into the housing bubble, eventually losing his ass — and his home, that he once owned free and clear (at the peak of the bubble, appraised for $1.6 million fiat dollars).

I helped my family finally move out of the home they lost the other day. It was a difficult day to say the least for my family and I. Upon returning home, I walk in to see what you see in the picture above.

I was stunned when I saw it. About 1 second later it clicked that someone had broken into my home while I was away with one of my roommates. About 2 seconds after that I had the 9mm handgun I conceal carry drawn and ready to fire, knowing full well that the robbers could still be in the house, and were likely armed.

This was the second…

Tweet for the Doctor Who Can Change the World

I’m really determined to make Doug McGuff’s speech at The 21 Convention 2010 the next “Sugar, the Bitter Truth” video (link). I am determined because I know the video has the potential to break into the hundreds of thousands of views, if not millions.

Doug’s ideas are truly revolutionary, because they are fully contrary to conventional wisdom on every level in this video. Not only are the ideas enough to spark a viewing stampede on Youtube, but Doug is unparalleled in his ability to communicate his ideas, in this field. Really.

His skill for condensing complex ideas down into something the lay veiwer can easily digest is bar none, the best in the world, in this field.

What can you do to support the doctor who can change the world? You can Tweet, a bunch. Specifically, a re-tweet of mine where Tony Robbins is mentioned along with the shortened Youtube URL of Doug’s speech.

Here is the Tweet.

Why this…

Acne

I think a lot of people see me today, and in recent years, and think I have always looked the way I do now.

  • Hairy
  • Healthy
  • Lean
  • Muscular
  • Smooth hair and skin

Mostly hairy.

This is in no way representative of how I grew up though, particularly in regards to acne. Even this picture sucks though, other than in how swollen/poofy my face used to be.

Sucks because I used to have really, really, really bad acne. The kind where your entire face is covered, top to bottom.

The kind where on, numerous, numerous occasions, the girl next to you in class had to tell you “your face is bleeding”, because it would actually be bleeding and/or oozing puss.

As a teenager, this is pretty mortifying, to say the least.

As a young adult?

You tend to not give a shit what other people think, or at least, you shouldn’t. What matters is what you think.

Does this mean cast aside a strive for the ideal? For health, wellness, and physical beauty?

And in case you’re wondering, yes, I…

My Ego is that Big — AnthonyJohnson.US

AnthonyJohnson.US

Rather than just have a personal blog, dedicated to expressing my ideas, and the joy I derive from my life — and living it for my own sake — I have now created a website for the sole purpose of being a portal to everything me.

It took a very short amount of time, and a very small amount of money (about $24 — and a big thanks goes to Dj Fuji for “ninjaing” this picture at T21C 2010 of me, with no racial pun intended).

It was created using Flavors.me.

In any case, this is an easy url to spread around in person, or on a business card, or special business cards different in size or shape.

I figure the URL will also be useful when I decide it is in my best interest to run this federal union some day, assuming it doesn’t collapse into 50 pieces before I am of physical and psychological age to do so.

Reading Page Updated

I’ve updated and simplified the shit out of the reading page. Go check it out.

What’s on My YouTube Favorites List?

I think this will prove pretty interesting. Most of it’s music. A few are really cool videos. I’ll post a brief description when appropriate. Make sure you right click and open in new tab. No way I’m modifying all of these links to do that automatically.

Fanny Pack Secret Revealed!

Now that most of you have seen the Doug McGuff video, and many of the preview videos with me introducing speakers, I will address the mysterious fanny pack of greatness.

The infamous “fag bag” — my favorite name for it from individuals who don’t know what’s in it (and would not dare call it that if they knew what was in it).

We’ll start by discussing the history of this “lost tourist ID tag”, where it originated, and it’s uses in the modern world.

We’ll then detail the type of milk, cookies, and candy I carry in there.

Blah.

Actually, I carry a loaded (but not chambered) compact 9mm handgun in there.

That’s right, a big, bad, evil gun. It even goes “bang” when the trigger is pulled.

I carry it not only to the convention, but everywhere it’s legal to carry, which is just about everywhere short of schools and most government buildings in the great State of Florida.

This includes…

Parts of the Paleo Community That Creep Me Out

There are a number of ideas and even people that take place and part in the blogging sum of the “paleo community” that outright creep me out.

I typically don’t take the time to unravel what it is I’m seeing, if I am certain that what I am seeing is in fact not an error of observation — that I have a reason I cannot yet or choose to not yet fully explain to myself, or anyone else.

Well I found a blog yesterday that pushed me closer to — as a starting point — listing out a few of these websites. (And as I just found out, I had actually visited this site previously when it’s forum sent some traffic to The Dream Lounge a few months back).

When I initially found the forum, I had a chill go up my spine when I read a comment from the author of another blog that I am also familiar with — that ironically, was the…

Excellent Video, Funky Website

I found this video last night. I admire the author, as well as the video. The lighting is excellent, the editing (simple as it is), came out great, and the music a nice touch. Very reminiscent of The Community Tapes, with a higher budget.

I can tell you right now it probably took in excess of two hours to film this, let alone edit it. I imagine there is a lot more content to this interview, and what we are watching is only 10% of it. I would love to see the rest, but have not been able to find it.

On a similar note, I visited the website watermarked in the video. While their production quality is high, the website looks like it was built in the late 90′s.
