So far as I can discern, most TDL readers, if not virtually all of you, support Ron Paul in one form or another. Many of you support him, I think, as much as I do — fully and completely (in spite of certain views that many of us do not agree with at all).
Fully and completely because his pros heavily, HEAVILY, outweigh his cons.
Not everyone is as certain as I am about his win in the coming election. Hell, many are still curious to see whether or not he will claim the republican nomination.
Yet, I have stated time and again that while there are no guarantees, his success is not only “possible”, but imminent.
Why is this? Why do I hold this with such certainty?
Well, it took some time for me to understand, and even more time to articulate — and now it’s time to share what I have learned.
The reason Ron Paul already has this in the bag.
~~~
That reason is this: Ron Paul, like myself, uses friction as a fuel, and he’s using it from all sides (doubtful supports of all degrees, as well as those feverishly opposed to him) — and he’s getting a ton of it.
Not only that, the status quo is feeding into this, at an increasing rate — like an animal backed into a corner with no way out.
And they don’t have the faintest clue. Of course they don’t — the status quo is fucking stupid.
That’s right. Human stupidity is feeding into Ron Paul’s impending victory. The media for example, doesn’t know what to do with him anymore.
- They ignore him: they anger him and drive him harder.
- They ignore him too much: they cannibalize themselves.
- They continue to ignore him: they become irrelevant.
What’s the alternative?
- They cover him: his supporters come out in full force, gaining him more support.
- They cover and attack him: he states the facts of reality and wins the argument.
- They continue to cover him: they are feeding the liberty machine.
That status quo have essentially, fucked themselves.
As they saying goes,
Tyranny carries its own seeds of destruction.
Of course tyranny does — all tyranny does is destroy, why wouldn’t it self-destruct?
~~~
To reduce this down into it’s simplest terms, Ron Paul is set to skyrocket to a show down with Barrack Obama (which in every way conceivable, will be a black and white polarization like this country has never seen before, including the Civil War period).
With the exception of Gary Johnson, the other republicans running are at best, a cruel joke.
In the interim period, no matter which way the mainstream fights against Ron Paul, they feed into him and his campaign to save America — including ignoring him at this point.
Which leaves them no escape route, no other option, which I confess is great to see, and exactly what those irrational shit heads deserve for their treason against the mind, life, liberty, and everything good in the world, let alone America.
~~~
As an illustration, behold this bastion of human stupidity — only add superglue to the mix.
Now imagine George W asking himself — what do I do?
Anything he does supports Ron Paul — including nothing, because he set the stage for Ron to kill it.
– Anthony Dream Johnson
he’s a legend in that interview, i just hope the GOP realises why he is the ideal candidate to lead America forward
i dont know if it’s ok to put a link. this was just a funny site and clip i found about how ron paul came in 2nd at iowa and no one wants to acknowledge it. if it’s inappropriate feel free to delete my comment.
http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2011/08/16/jon-stewart-is-the-man/
Not inappropriate at all. Thanks for commenting.
Without a supportive Congress (and he wouldn’t have one), what exactly would a Ron Paul presidency accomplish? 4 years of vetoing everything that came across his desk? His legacy would be bringing all the troops home; he could hang his hat on “ha, I kept the establishment from progressing their agenda for a hot minute”…it is all just delaying the inevitable. Maybe I’m just cynical…
The same principle applies — the status quo have given the executive branch far too much power, and that is in Ron’s favor. Meaning not only would Ron bring the troops home, but he could nullify all previous illegal executive orders, as well as grant pardons to every single individual currently in jail for non-violent “drug crimes”. Ron could also refuse to enforce illegal federal laws that States opted to nullify, under his encouragement. From gun laws to drug laws, health care laws, etc etc.
If he did nothing more than veto every unconstitutional spending bill for the next four years, he’s accomplish more than the last 30 presidents combined by sheer virtue of not making things worse.
David Stockman just said some nice things about Ron Paul.
http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/david-stockman-gop-candidates-checked-reality-125336653.html
My favorite part of this is when he says, “It’s not like I’m just trying to win the election, I’m trying to change the course of history.”
I think most politician’s goal is _to win_. Once they do, they feel successful and don’t have the same level of motivation to do much from there (until they have to win the next election).
Ron Paul’s target is much higher and much greater, from the start. Becoming president is just a step along the way – that’s why I think he has a real shot.
It’s like when a martial artist is trying to strike through a piece of wood: they don’t aim to hit the wood, they aim below it and strike through.
Just a general observation after reading your p-90x review and looking at your blog.
You seem, to me, to be a real knob. Your infantile attacks on people who don’t agree with you scream of immaturity and low self esteem.
Im sure that your little convention thing or whatever you do is a scam of some sort.
That is all.
Yep you caught me … big scam, all a sham, The 21 Convention will NOT change your life. Do NOT attend!
Oh don’t you worry about me attending. As for the sham aspect, just read any review of your conference by someone who didn’t profit on it. I’ve watched some of the videos. Read reviews. You charge people 550$ and give them what exactly?
There isnt a single negative review of the conference itself, in existence, that is even remotely negative on the whole. I state this as a fact of reality.
Yes there are.
Show me.
Sure I’m a little weird….but when I see an injustice, and your convention seems to fit, I don’t like it. I don’t like seeing people shelling out hard earned money for psycho-babble jock boy garbage.
We’ll both win when you attend, and stuff a sock in your own mouth for the things you are now saying about the conference. You wouldn’t be the first and you won’t be the last.
See if you got the stones to publish that. Tell me why I’m wrong.
Seriously. What do I get for $550.00?
You get a ticket to the event. Duh.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer are you……
As for attending your conference, I don’t need more victories, thanks. It just saddens me that people get preyed upon like that.
You sell yourself as some sort of exercise expert….and u aren’t even cut!
Adam Lyons!! Come on…look dummy….you can’t TEACH personality. Personality is what attracts women to men. Stop preying on these low self esteem having schlubs….you can’t teach them personality.
@Matt
You’re right. People can’t improve themselves. If you lack confidence, or have low self esteem, might as well give up on life and kill yourself. $550 for a conference? Fuck that! Matt has a better solution. He says there’s no point, you either have it or you don’t. So don’t end up like those poor sad schlubs who are trying to better themselves and find a way to succeed at life. Just kill yourself.
Matt Method Testimonial:
“I thought I would shell out $550 for a chance at changing my life and striving to achieve the best for myself, but after talking to Matt, I realized that I wasn’t getting laid, cause chicks dig personality. Matt said he couldn’t teach me personality though. So I went to the adult sex store and spent $550 on some dvds. Thanks Matt Method =)!”
1. Never said people can’t improve themselves.
2. Give up and kill yourself?? When did I say that?
3. I do have a better solution than handing 550$ to this clown. Yes.
How about this…..don’t make getting laid your life’s pursuit. How about that? Save your 550$ and put it towards college. Shit, invest it and double it in 5 years. There is a good woman for every good man on this planet. She will find you…get your life together in other areas and do things with your friends and meet other people through your friends and eventually you will meet someone.
I’m assuming you’ve never taken a logic class….your “testimonial” rebuttal is so asinine I’m not even going to address it.
In light of this comment, I now question whether or not you’ve actually visited The21Convention.com, let alone read or watched anything at all. You get a very big #facepalm
You are the new Jeff! =D
“You are the new Jeff! =D”
LOL
Sure i’m the new Jeff. Hilarious. Listen dream, as an aside, you really need to work in a public speaking course or two. I m saying that not to be insulting but as an honest critique. Cheers.
@Matt
“1. Never said people can’t improve themselves.
2. Give up and kill yourself?? When did I say that?”
Really? “Stop preying on these low self esteem having schlubs….you can’t teach them personality” sounded somewhat like telling them that they can’t improve themselves, ie. give up, ie me exaggerating that to killing themselves.
“3. I do have a better solution than handing 550$ to this clown. Yes.
How about this…..don’t make getting laid your life’s pursuit. How about that?”
Getting laid is just a byproduct of improving your relations with the opposite sex. And I guess you’re ignoring everything else at the convention?”
“There is a good woman for every good man on this planet. She will find you…”
So when she finds these “low self esteem schlubs,” as you called them, what exactly do you see happening?
“get your life together in other areas and do things with your friends and meet other people through your friends and eventually you will meet someone.”
And, this can’t be done if you go to the 21 Convention? What happens when you do meet someone? Wouldn’t knowing how to better present yourself make a difference? If you were going to a job interview, wouldn’t you like to be prepared, maybe know a little something about the company, how to present yourself, how best to answer certain questions, what questions you yourself should ask, etc.?
“I’m assuming you’ve never taken a logic class….your “testimonial” rebuttal is so asinine I’m not even going to address it.”
When you mentioned that “you can’t teach personality” and said that it was personality that got chicks. It pretty much meant “give up unless you’re already good.”
I didn’t know they taught a “logic class.” I hope it’s not where your $550 wound up : ]
1. So you admit your exhaggerating as a rebuttal? Seriously? Wow.
2. Personality is unique to every individual. In many cases it is a gift that obscures society’s pre-conceived notions of what is “ideal” or “desirable”. This convention….and I watched every video I could stomach in coming up with this opinion….is pure conformist propaganda I.e. “this is how you talk to girls”….”this is how you walk” …”this is what you wear”. Maybe that has some sort of great value to some people, I would have laughed at it in my late teens. I think individuality is evolution perfected. So the idea of these “speakers” instructing me on how to be a male is just hilarious. I don’t people need to pay to be instructed on how to carry themselves..that crushes individuality to me.
“you can’t teach personality = give up” is your own conclusion tailered to your argument. And also a logical fallacy…you can learn that any college 100 or 200 level logic and inquiry course if your curious. You can even major in logic if you want. I did. Cheers.
“1. So you admit your exhaggerating as a rebuttal? Seriously? Wow.”
It was pretty clear that I was exaggerating. I don’t know why you’re so shocked by me admitting it, I wasn’t exactly hiding the fact.
“This convention….and I watched every video I could stomach in coming up with this opinion….is pure conformist propaganda I.e. “this is how you talk to girls”….”this is how you walk” …”this is what you wear”. Maybe that has some sort of great value to some people, I would have laughed at it in my late teens. I think individuality is evolution perfected. So the idea of these “speakers” instructing me on how to be a male is just hilarious.”
Make no mistake about it. You learned “how to walk,” “what to wear,” “how to talk,” from somewhere. Whether it was television, music, friends, peers, parents, school, or a combination of those things. Just because you were unaware of it, doesn’t mean you weren’t learning those things from a source that was unlikely you.
I’m sure in an ideal world, your natural best self would be nurtured from birth, but from what I’ve seen, society does nothing but feed you tons of bullshit. You’re constantly told what to eat, wear, be, how to talk, and “walk.”
The 21 Convention doesn’t teach anyone to “conform” to anything. It does make you aware of what you’re wearing, how you’re talking, and how you’re walking, as examples.
A simplified example: If you’re talking in a low voice, and I tell you to talk louder, does that make you a “conformist” for taking my advice? Or perhaps I’m just giving you good advice that will bring you better success whenever a conversation crops up.
When Anthony mentioned that low-fat diets were bullshit, did I take his word for it? No, I looked at the research and came to my own conclusions. If Adam Lyons tells me how to get better with girls, do I take his word for it? No, I actually have to go out and see if what he preaches gets results.
You think I dress or talk anything like Anthony or Adam Lyons? As an individual, what I’m getting from them is information that I can apply and tailor to myself if I feel it fits and is worth implementing.
And unlike other conventions out there, Anthony actually puts his videos up for free so that those who could not attend the convention have access to tons of free content. Yet you blast him for charging $550 for people to attend his convention.
The people attending the 21Convention aren’t stupid. They’ve been to the site, and have seen the videos up for free. I’m guessing they choose to attend cause they know there is a ton of value in attending, and $550 is a small price to pay. There are people who spend 4 years and thousands of dollars at college and come away with less value then 3 days at the 21Convention.
I take it you didn’t go to college….which is fine. Under education on your resume you can put “the 21 convention” I work for the black rock group….we hire 21ers all the time lol.
I’m still rather young, and I don’t have others to pay for my college education, or support me while I attend college.
So, I don’t see college happening for me until, maybe 6 years from now. I’m in no rush for it. I might kick off my career without the degree, since a portfolio means more then a degree in the professions I seek to be employed in.
I’ve proved capable of earning more then some of my college educated friends, so I don’t think the lack of a degree is hindering my employment.
I can tell that you are still rather young. You’ve heard of college loans, I assume? I started at Ohio state using federally funded college loans to pay my 1st 2 years at osu. I don’t come from money. My bachelor’s degree, as well as my post-grad degrees,were free, because I earned both athletic and academic scholarships. I walked on to the football team as a freshan and played 4 years, and worked part time throughout. So if your willing to work, and you are bright and adaptable, the same thing can happen for you. Stay in your circle and stay humble. Sure the Ayn Rand shit sounds good when your 19, but trust me, the world, any world, does not work that way. Her work may as well have been animated, because that kind of nihilistic misogyny doesn’t play in the real world.
The best advice in life really is free and available if your willing to look for it. So save your $550
The 21Convention, I’d see myself attending for the experience, not so much the advice.
I don’t care to take out a loan, as I’m not looking to create a ton of debt for myself. I’m in no rush for college. I’m not looking to conform to a regular, go to school, get a career, get married, have children, happily ever after, life.
It’s not like I need to go to college now in order to live an enjoyable life, or even work towards my career. As long as I know I’m productively working towards my goals, it doesn’t matter what comes first, and how fast I get there.
Troll much?
As often as necessary, limey.
Its an open message board, is it not? PHD scholar like you should certainly relish open communication, no?
This is my blog. It is my private property. It is not an outhouse for intellectual piles of shit.
Intelectual= piece of shit?
Absolutely. I never said anything to imply that I don’t.
