Most of you don’t know this, but TDL started back in the Summer of 2006, almost 5 years ago, as a private forum for the best and brightest young men I could find.
While the history of TDL is not today’s subject, I would like to point out that TDL is growing into a sort of network of it’s own — the same way it evolved from a private forum into a blog.
I have identified the following blogs as a part of The Dream Lounge network — blogs by men who share the same, absolute sense of life I do on this blog, and men who blog regularly about topics similar to my own.
- The Life and Times of James Steele II
- Dan That’s Revolutionary
- Skeptical Empiricism
- Tumble Design
- Body by Science
I have limited it to these 5 for the time being, but it is sure to grow. I have exlcuded blogs I love by men I admire as well, if they are more broad in their focus, as compared to TDL (yet the authors still posses that vivid sense of life).
Blogs like Condtioning Research, MarksDailyApple.com, and Baye.com — just to name a few.
I will likely create a tab on this blog for the network at some point, and if there is interest, a Twitter list for it.

Thanks Anthony.
Ayn Rand wrote : “Achieving life is not the equivalent of avoiding death.”
You are certainly trying to achieve life.
Damn straight Chris!!
Thanks a lot Anthony.
I’ve been a long time reader of your blog and greatly admire the conviction you have for truth and how you are helping the men of our age who will inspire change.
Reading what you had said over the years has helped me greatly in my journey to shape my own life and I can say from just my own life how much you have impacted lives. Even though I still have yet to come to the Convention, the message you send out to the world drives men of (growing) integrity to action.
When I saw my blog on this list I could not believe my eyes. I never expected it to be linked in a post here. I would say I still have a long way to go in fully realizing a life of integrity and determination, but I know that I am definitely on the right path and I owe much of that to what you have offered to the world. I will continue to live up to the standards of the life I deserve and expect from myself – which is exactly what you have done with the Convention.
I look forward to the day I attend the Convention and shake your hand, but until that time I will continue to live my life shaped by my own hands for my own purpose and will strive to find my unalterable determination. Once again, thank you for everything you have taught, are teaching, and will teach the men of this world.
I was also pleasantly surprised and very honored to notice my site listed above and could not put my thanks better than Dan has done here. Word for word, “What he said!”
Thanks Anthony,
-Nicky
Hey Anthony, would you ever consider writing a blog post about what all you’re doing to prepare for the dollar collapse scenario?
Ya I’ll get to it, along with acne, and an epic post that has been brewing for weeks on end like a pot about to overflow.
In the meantime, I’d say
Buy a gun
Buy some ammo
Buy some food
Buy some silver (and gold if you can)
Attend The 21 Convention
That last point is ultimately my giant middle finger to a corrupt society — and I am winning.
Cool. But, how will your convention survive and thrive if people are too broke to attend?
Your going to be stunned when you see the convention revenue stream from year to year.
Nah I wouldn’t be stunned. I see the beginnings of an intellectual revolution shaping up…….the silver lining of this economic disaster is that it’s going to give the heroes a chance to step up, stand out and gain a following.
