Your Favorite Top 7 Videos from The 21 Convention?

Currently when you sign up for The 21 Convention Newsletter you get a free audio pack download — and that’s it. While that’s kinda cool, it’s very short sighted in scope, and not in any way unique.

Right now I’m interested in, instead of the above, creating a “Free 7 Video Course Bootcamp”, that sends the new e-mail subscriber a video every Sunday as part of a 7 week program. These would need to be the top 7 videos from The 21 Convention, that also properly introduce them to the convention, and the wide range of topics.

While I could easily pull the top videos in terms of views and select from there, I would like some input on the choices.

Currently thinking something like:

  1. http://www.the21convention.com/2011/03/05/doug-mcguff-t21c-2010/
  2. http://www.the21convention.com/2011/04/05/mark-sisson-t21c-2010/
  3. http://www.the21convention.com/2011/02/18/anthony-dream-johnson-t21c-2010-sweden/
  4. http://www.the21convention.com/2011/10/17/intimate-relationships/
  5. http://www.the21convention.com/2009/09/08/dj-fuji-t21c-2009/
  6. http://www.the21convention.com/2011/10/12/introduction-to-objectivism/
  7. http://www.the21convention.com/2011/08/24/matthew-hussey-psychology-entrepreneurship/

Of course, even picking these 7 was hard, and that was just at a quick glance.

Never mind, deciding what sequence to put these in for the newsletter subscriber (e.g. what order will these best be viewed in for the lay person).

Suggestions welcome.

#7 with Matthew Hussey seems like the most interesting. Not that I’d know, but I just like Hussey’s vibe.

It’s funny you should mention this, I was actually thinking of doing a similar sort of challenge for my website Let’s Do Something that ties in with some of the 21 convention videos.

I think if you’re going to be doing a sort of ‘7 week bootcamp’ thing you should really lead the subscriber through a narrative.

What about splitting it into four aspects of the self (Body, Mind, Heart, Spirit), and spending two weeks on each aspect.

    First Two Weeks – Body
    Mark Sisson and Doug Mcguff

    Second Two Weeks – Mind
    James Steele and Matthew Hussey

    Third Two Weeks – Heart
    Sock and Hussey

    Fourth Two Weeks – Spirit
You and Right Hand Man (Top Ten Mistakes to Avoid in Your Twenties).

I’d also love to see this tie in with the lounge. If there were specific reflection questions and action items each day based on the video for that week, which would then be posted up on the lounge. This is a tactic which has worked excellently for Let’s Do Something, I’ve found that if I can get someone to post up just one post from a life changing challenge, they’ll likely see the whole thing through.

Great idea Anthony, can’t wait to see what you come up with.

    Cheers,
    Matt

Thanks for the suggestions Matt, much appreciated. Especially the narrative concept, as well as the lounge. I log in all the time but consistently forget to implement it into the bigger picture.
