What’s up man.
Welcome back to your favorite banned newsletter The Dream Lounge. The newsletter that never dies, no matter how many times it gets banned. It’s the highly resilient herpes of newsletters apparently.
For any of you new around here, I’ve been publishing newsletters, blogs, and essays for about 20 years on the dot now, under the pen name Anthony Dream Johnson. My real middle name is Paul so just a slight adjustment off the original.
My first born daughter on the other hand, her real name is in fact the legendary Charlotte Dream Johnson.
Throughout those 20 years I’ve published my writings under a few different brands and titles. The Dream Lounge however is the longest running, which I started in 2006 on Blogspot and has always been a highly personal reading experience.
Yes I am an old fart. Blogspot was new and cool once man.
Since then TDL and my writing has published across many different platforms. Often just direct e-mail newsletters provided by Aweber (banned) or Mailchimp (banned), also self-hosted Wordpress for many years, and most recently I switch everything to Substack in 2024.
I did some research, it seemed like a good move for me as a writer at the time given my goals and the features available on Substack.
Above all given my history with this exact newsletter getting banned several times - not to mention my various social media accounts which have also been heavily banned, suspended, deleted, demonetized, throttled, and shadow banned - the Substack mission to robustly support free speech was very attractive to me as a writer to whatever extent it was genuine and uncompromising.
They get criticized heavily by the Orwellian pro-censorship cunts in the media which was a good sign.
I went further and worked hard to push other writers I know to join the platform. GLO is a very sensible writer for men and perfect example. His Substack is one of the finest around. I (think) I encouraged Jack Donovan to bring his newsletter to Substack as well - a world renowned author for men on the subject of masculinity.
They’ve both helped populate the Substack platform with high quality, original writing for men and their readers are better for it. Substack itself is better because they publish here. They are serious writers.
Substack in and of itself has been pretty good to me, until they fucking banned my entire account without warning, notice, or meaningful explanation.
That’s ignoring the little quirks of pushing normie slop content in the notes feed and quietly throttling more controversial content. Still this wasn’t a deal breaker. Substack Notes are fun, they aren’t the meat and potatoes of why I’m here.
To write and tell the truth no matter what, in long format essays for highly intelligent apex alpha males and alpha males in progress. This is The Dream Lounge fellas, not Tik Thot.
My entire life has been one never ending radical journey of horrific violence, tragedy, heart break, love, women, personal transformation, national media attention, organizing cult leaders together in real life, and otherwise having globe trotting manosphere adventures.
My entire life has been super extreme. The way I think, believe, speak, write, live, and act correspond to this real experience.
I speak my mind in other words. Often with a level of verbal aggression and intellectual intensity that shocks, scares, inspires, and offends people. Even millions of people, or hundreds of millions in the case of Make Women Great Again.
I’m not helpless or oblivious to any of this. I’m actively aware of it and fan the flame to the maximum degree possible. It is intentional.
There are major social media gurus I know - guys are legit radicals themselves - who have been accused of being radicalized by me in public, even in documentaries.
That’s great. Radicalizing the radicals is something Ayn Rand was quite good at, and I carry that torch forward with serious pride. It’s hard to radicalize men who are already radical maxxing.
It is fun for me no doubt, but I do it as a public service.
The way I think, write, and speak is what actually moves the needle on the Overton window for all of you. On the entire framework of how you think, decide, and act in real life.
I’m not satisfied with smashing that window anymore either. We’re at the point of history now where someone like me needs to constantly take a sledge hammer to the window frame and entire wall. We’re building a big French double door set instead of a gay little window.
To say the least I love writing and thinking without limits. Substack I thought was one of, and maybe the only place on the internet where you can actually do that.
You cannot go write and speak whatever you’re thinking openly on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, Wordpress, Twitter/X, Reddit, etc.
If you have the wrong opinion or belief, you will be banned. Suspended. Throttled. Deleted. Striked, etc. Not if, when, and probably quite soon.
This tweet for example got my entire account deleted for 6 months. Yet here in real life, it gets an instant standing ovation (2022).
I was visibly surprised by that. I had no idea people would start yelling and clapping. I was just speaking about why doctors who mutilate children should be publicly executed by firing squads after due process. Which apparently is back in style now.
Which I love and is exactly what I voted for in 2024.
While I did eventually get my Twitter account undeleted almost a year later, it’s been broken and fucked up ever since. Permanently shadow banned and heavily censored.
I have page after page of this shit in my inbox just from X.
Even more from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and now even Substack.
Why anyone thinks X is a free speech platform is beyond me. At least when robot lizard Zuckerberg speaks about free expression you know he’s lying.
With Elon and X the “free speech” there is an illusion. It only exists for large, popular accounts. All of whom are dependent on the X titty, all of whom will ultimately stay in line.
So yes Andrew Tate or whoever can go write NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER five hundred times in a row and all is fine. But if I go there and write even 1% of that, instantly my tweets get taken down.
If I take any random long form essay from The Dream Lounge and publish it as an article on X, the same thing will happen.
Sorry Anthony. Our AI overlords have determined you called women cunts in this article 457 times over the policy threshold. Only two cunts are permitted per article. Your article is deleted and your account is suspended from posting for 30 days. Welcome to the future of free speech, thank you for using X freely expressing yourself.
Free speech on X is a sick joke.
Which is why Substack banning me was so sad, particularly in the manner they did without notice, warning, or opportunity to discuss what’s going on. No trial, no due process, just straight to the guillotine for Anthony.
What a shit stain on their free speech advocacy.
GLO to his credit has always warned me that the day will come when Substack finally cucks out on free speech. For whatever reason. Financial issues, legal attacks, big tech monopolies strangling them, payment processor threats, investors screaming, fat women screaming, direct or indirect government pressure, etc.
I’ve always known he was right, I just thought that day would come around 2030 or so. Not in the middle of Trump 2.0.
There’s no chance the Trump DOJ or FTC is breathing down Substack’s neck right now to clamp down on “hate speech” or “misinformation” or whatever. That’s just not happening.
This wound, this grave attack on the best Substack newsletter in the world The Dream Lounge, was self-inflicted.
No one forced them to SUSPEND AND BAN a newsletter of this size and scope. And the fact that it (probably) happened at all without any human intervention or final review should set off alarm bells for everyone.
It may signal that the process was entirely AI automated, even for an account of this size and scope. Just instant death, kill shot, after years of publishing.
Meaning further that fat fucking female thunder cunts were, have been, and continue to mass report my account and all of my posts. They’ve been doing this on Facebook for over a month and also had my account hit there with over 10 community strikes, demonetizing my entire account.
This happens a lot for me across every platform to the point that I rarely even mention it anymore. Just another Tuesday of people trying to ban, silence, choke, and censor me off the internet.
I can’t even properly describe how enraging it is when I see anyone trying to censor and muzzle anyone from speaking and writing in public.
The level of fucking malice and arrogance it takes to think YOU have the right to dictate what I will do with my hands, fingers, mouth, teeth, and tongue to speak and write is absolutely insane and evil.
You are truly vile human being if you think you have the right to decide how I will think, speak, and write about anything.
Go fuck yourself a million times over with a curling iron.
The assault on freedom of speech is an assault on the freedom to think and act. That’s why they do it. If they can silence the speech and muzzle writers, they forcibly limit your access to new ideas and information.
It’s a sophisticated form of slavery.
Censorship by virtually any means, and for almost any purpose, is a high tech way to puppet your actions. To control and enslave you. Without even realizing it your thinking is limited to a new frame of reference. Your actions and beliefs will then fit squarely inside that box, with you none the wiser.
It is unspeakably sinister and evil. Deport them to Canada or heaven, all of them.
The Closure of the Internet
While I did appeal successfully with Substack - and still got near zero explanation for what happened, or what content even allegedly violated a policy - I feel compelled to push you to read this excellent article on censorship.
I had a post similar to this half done, but much shorter in scope. This post is the real deal, examining how, when, and why the internet died starting around 2015.
It is worth reading in precision detail to understand why things have gotten so bad. Where as in 2014 free speech was a real thing on the internet. Almost anywhere, at all times, and in all ways. If the speech or content was lawful, then it was fine. That baseline is long gone now, choked to death Cu Clux Clancy style.
In closing I’m back from the dead. Disappointed with Substack and still salty. I’m going to stay for now like a battered wife and see how many more black eyes Chris Best and friends are willing to dish out in the name of love and free speech.
Needless to say I will continue to push the envelope in my thinking and writing, as always, but harder than ever.
This is how you move the world forward and destroy evil.
Kicking and fucking screaming.
Real life is not a story book.
Telling the truth makes people hate you.
Makes people want to kill you.
The more intense the truth, the more intense the hate.
Good thing my heart is filled with hate.
Hatred of evil, love of the good and true.

P.S.
If you want to support my writing off Substack you can go here anytime. I prefer money, thanks.

Yep. I am the most censored man in the world. Men have to fight back against censorship.
